allow me to get conspiratorial for a minute: these are rumors started by white separatists and spread by the unassuming general public
start a rumor the negroes are about to destroy white part of town, then when it doesn't happen, people will still think 'it came close to happening'. it helps brew up distrust of blacks and gets people angry about non-existent black people having non-existent violent protests.
remember yesterday when those buses full of negroes almost destroyed south tulsa and beat a bunch of white people? whew. that was a close call. we got lucky this time. better keep in the back of our minds that we might not be so lucky next time.
