Anyone know how to tell if a Vacuum Tube is good?

I think they are like those old CRT TV's.....you shoot them and if they make a loud popping noise they were good.

I also have a tube tester. Those tubes are used in guitar amps, old vocal amps., old radios, TV's and CB radios (Like Browning) Ham radio's, and Ham radio Amps. or should I say vintage. I have worked on all those.

I had an old Philco tube radio for a while that was pretty cool. I wish I knew what happened to Dad's old Heathkit Stereo!! That would sure be fun to crank up.
