[QUOTE="dennishoddy, post: 2146145, member: 5412"] Fished the neighbors pond this evening. Still has about 6' of water in it. I keep it stocked with bass. 20 years ago when I got permission, there was nothing but 3" fish in it. All stunted. First thing stocked was a 6lb blue cat and a half dozen bass from 1-4 lbs. every year a bass or two from different lakes got put in it. The little stunted bass dissapeared. It's been nothing but a catch and release pond. Fished it tonight, for the first time in a couple of years. He had cows on it, and I hate having to try and fish with cows in the water, and that is where they stayed during the drought. Sold his herd as there was no grass left. Sizes went from 1 lb to 4 1/4. Fought snd lost one that was a real sow.
