Opinions on what you think of this ad by a Democrat challenging the incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Roy Blunt.

Here's the only unbiased thing I could find on his record without paying for some "service"...

HB 668 Firearm Regulation Amendments
Bill Passed House (105 - 50) ; Rep. Jason Kander voted Nay

  • Synopsis: Vote to pass a bill that lowers the minimum age for a concealed weapon permit, allows deadly force in instances of private property protection, and allows concealed firearms in any higher education institution; Highlights:
  • Lowers the minimum age requirement for obtaining a concealed carry endorsement from 23 years of age to 21 years of age
  • Removes the provisions without a duty to retreat from the property, against a person who unlawfully enters, remains after unlawfully entering, or attempts to unlawfully enter private property

Certainly a good commercial. But I couldn't help but notice the part where he said, essentially, he supports background checks. We already have those. So, what does he think we need to do "more"? The non existent "gun show loophole"?

Never underestimate the power of the left to think they know more than you. Just because he knows his way around a gun, doesn't mean he supports your rights to have one.
