Police arrested four individuals, Aaron Miller, Dillon Kaiser, Shanna Sharp, and Alison Brown. Sgt. Swarer says they’ve been charged with felonies including child neglect, maintaining a house where drugs are sold or kept, and conspiracy. Three children were removed from one of the homes. Police recovered two parts from two different catalytic converters, along with drug paraphernalia. Swarer says the investigation is ongoing, and more charges may be forthcoming. She says the theft of catalytic converters is a serious issue for not just Catoosa right now, but for many law enforcement agencies. “It’s all over this town and every other town surrounding,” she noted. “It’s just the agencies getting together at this point and starting to crack down on who they are.” Sgt. Swarer adds if you see someone kneeling down by a vehicle, call 9-1-1 as it’s possible that person may not be the owner of the vehicle. [/QUOTE]
