Wow. These coins were out of my hands and returned to the original owner months ago ... without cleaning.

Meh...

...some people just don't know how to determine how old a thread is before posting on it.

They don't stop to think that the person that made the original post may not even still be around on the forums.

I have a $20 St Gaudins coin that needed cleaning and due to it's value I sent it in to one of the companies that certify coins. I think it cost $39.00 to clean but I'm not sure. I subsequently had it stabbed and it's in my safe. Only if a coin is valuable would I send it to be cleaned. Otherwise they remain dirty and even a dirty coin can be certified.
