I wish them luck. The Feds are never going to let this happen without a great deal of hate coming to CO. Hell, Comrade O will probably send in the Stasi or defoliatethe entire state.

I wonder what all those blue people will have to say then......."Like, wow, man, what a bummer. I totally thought he was kewl. I mean, dood, like he is the Interceptor."

Colorado governor to potheads: 'Don't break out the Cheetos'

[The reason is that marijuana is still a controlled substance under federal law, raising all sorts off issues for how Colorado and Washington, the other state where voters decriminalized the recreational use of marijuana Tuesday, will implement their initiatives....]

“This will be a complicated process....]

It's simple. Have the feds point out in the text of the Constitution the enumerated power to control what substance any of us wants to put into our bodies. Since it's not in the Constitution, then they have absolutely no say on the matter. Any federal law not made IN PURSUANCE of an enumerated power is null and void. It's reserved to the states and the people as per the Tenth Amendment. And as such the state has a duty to defend the rights of it's citizens against the federal government's unconstitutioal acts.

No. But buying your weed in Colorado affects Interstate Commerce because you could have bought your weed in Oklahoma although you didn't. Growing your own weed affects Interstate Commerce because you could have bought your weed from another grower.

That's how they do it. Interstate commerce is the ONE thing that needs fixed in the Constitution.

Cocaine and Heroin are both plant extracts. Legalize them too.

Not that it cant happen, because it already is heroin is legal in the form of Morphine and other derivative substances used for pain management and for get this, heroin users to kick the drug, they use a pseudo-heroin called, oxy-contin, which is very similar in makeup, just man made.
