Could be I misunderstood what he was saying. As said wife and I have been AAA members for years and don't remember far enough back to know what went down when we first joined. We even called a tow truck for a friends car when we were riding with him and his transimmision died. I wasn't aware a member could do that till it happened. Only bad expierence I ever had was kinda my own fault for letting the tow truck driver talk me into towing my van to his buddy's shop rather than a Dodge dealer. Was in Florida and my fuel pump quit. His buddy replaced the fuel pump with some after market thing from an auto parts store. The new pump died shortly after I got back in Oklahoma and I was never able to get anything out of the independent shop in Florida. If I had taken it to a Dodge dealer in Florida (like I intended to) it would have been under warranty and wouldn't have cost me anything the second time.
