[QUOTE="toehanus, post: 2486127, member: 9740"] I don't remember if this has been discussed and my search isn't working so, here goes... This is something I think about fairly frequently because is directly applies to me. I live in a rural community and commute 50 miles everyday to OKC. I work in the general vicinity of the capital. So, what would be the best course of action for me to get home if some sort of civil unrest/riot were to occur. I figure I am in an area that would have a higher chance of his happening. So, let's assume I have an appropriate "get home" bag equipped with two days worth of essentials. What are your thoughts on how to proceed? Wait it out in hopes that it settles soon? Try to bail out and get home? Also, I don't drive a cool "mad max" type vehicle, so there will be no smashing through stuff to get home. Honda civics don't work well in that situation.
