Gonna brag just a bit

My civic club - the OKC Ambucs - with the labor assistance of a church men's group, funded the materials and built a wheel chair ramp Saturday. The ramp recipient and build will be on Channel 4 in OKC for an In Your Corner follow up story one evening this week on the 10pm news. The before segment about his current unsafe ramp aired a week or so ago. The ramp recipient had another surgery this morning so the ramp timing was just right. Blessed to be able to make a difference in the life of someone with a disability. With all of the bad news in the world, a little good news is nice to share. It does a man's heart good to build something good for someone just because.

Well they filmed the rest of the story today with the ramp recipient thanking us for the new ramp. Mario's surgery went well on Monday and his walk down the ramp was heart warming. The ramp unveiling is set for the 10 pm news on KFOR Monday.
