[QUOTE="Hangfire, post: 4180723, member: 27673"] 1. Was going to work early one morning at dark thirty, headed west on I-40, and a big tall burly looking black trooper pulled me over for speeding.....warranted stop because I knew that I doing about 20 over the limit. He ask for license and registration and then ask if I knew why he pulled me over and being completely honest and in these exact words I said, "yes sir it's because I've got my head up my a$$ this morning and was speeding". I guess that he'd never heard someone admit that they had their head up their a$$ before and he got a big grin on his face, told me to slow down and let me go without a ticket or warning. 2. Going duck hunting several years ago real early one morning and I peeled off at the Purcell exit to grab a couple frying pan size apple fritters on the way to the blind and was about 1/2 way through town and the lights came on behind me and I thought to myself Oh Crap.....young-ish Purcell cop walked up and said that he saw my Vietnam veteran Okla. tag and just wanted to thank me for my service, nice gesture on his part.
