[QUOTE="DRC458, post: 2771582, member: 530"] I've been wearing them since last November. I'm sorry, but I think they were the biggest waste of the largest amount of money in my entire life. I went back countless times and had them fine-tuned. I suppose they are kind of a blessing and a curse at the same time. Mine are Oticon Nera Pro. They can supposedly adjust every way imaginable. Turn up this frequency, turn down that one. Enhance this, suppress that. Mine are behind-the-ear, so they are no help whatsoever on the phone. They still can't tune out those offensive noises/sounds that you would just as soon not hear, or barely hear. I'm better now than the first couple of months, but still. Rattling paper - really annoying. Blender about sends me through the roof. I don't know what to recommend. I don't know how profound your hearing loss is, but I wouldn't even consider it unless my hearing loss was really severe. And, yes, several doctors/specialists told me I needed them. Some days I just don't even put them in and I think I'm just about as well off. Sorry. I wish you the best. Please do let me know what aid you wind up with, and how pleased you are with them.
