The Westboro Baptist Church has been up to this long enough. I am of the belief that if enough of us patriotic types got together and decided to figure out some way to prevent them from protesting at these soldiers funerals it could be done. I personally had a good friend die in Iraq and they were "supposed" to protest at his funeral. I large group of rather angry Biker/Vets showed up for the funeral and curtained off a perimeter around the area where the funeral was being held to keep them out. There is a big part of me that would like to take care of these people in an entirely different, more perminent way but prison doesn't interest me. I just don't understand what protesting against gays in the military at the funeral of a straight soldier is doing other than disrupting the grieving of the funeral. Quite frankly, I may not agree with homosexuals doing what they do but if one of them dies defending this country, people should respect their funeral just the same. These idiots have got to be stopped.
