Just got done with it. 4 eyebolts & two 12' tie downs. Use some foam padding to protect edges. Worked out pretty good. Its very secure. Hope it's as easy to put back on as it was to take off!

I have one of those bike hoist that I used for a bike. I just don't trust it for my hardtop. If my bike fell its ok, but if my hardtop fell, that's different!

I agree. I just used one of these to hang a bike in my garage and I was less than impressed with it.
Functional but not the most secure.

Looks like ratchet straps you used? Make sure you have a friend or two with you when it is time to lower the top back down it reinstall. You ever see how those ratchet straps react with a heavy load and you try to loosen them up?
