I have to stay out of that danged thrift store,,,
This time the box cost me a whopping 99-cents plus tax.
It is actually a box of very fancy stationary,,,
The cow on the box is raised in 3-dimension about 1/8 inch.
It contained 9 folded letter pages with the raised cow as well,,,
And an envelope for each cow letter page.
I have no use for the stationary but thought the box was cute,,,
The cow sort of reminded me of the Borden cow "Elsie".
Then it dawned on me that I had my "Elsie Pea" in my back pocket.
I carry my Ruger LCP in a DeSantis pocket holster,,,
A quick check and I found out it was a great fit,,,
Just enough room for the holster and a mag.
So I snagged the box and it's contents,,,
I have a friend who will love the stationary.
At home I cut one small block of foam just as a spacer,,,
To lift the gun/holster closer to the top of the box,,,
Gave it a red felt wrap and here is my desk box.
When I come home I always place Elsie Pea in my top desk drawer,,,
From now on I'll keep this box on top of my desk,,,
And put Elsie there when I come home.
The lid is magnetic and comes open very easily,,,
From the easy chair I watch TV from,,,
I can easily reach the box.
I know this one might seem a bit frivolous,,,
But for the price it was too good a deal to pass up.
And it was fun,,,
Something I feel a need for lately.
