I'm not arguing about the wait period, or even if/when someone with a nonviolent misdemeanor (such as a cannabis possession) should be allowed to get a concealed carry permit...

You miss my point...I'm not say it is or isn't worse. Only that it would make a good sound bite for an "anti" who might be interested in stopping this bill.

Finally got a response from my rep, Danny Morgan, concerning this bill. He said he supports it but it is dead. Not sure if he supports it or if he supports it because it's dead.
