What do u like? There’s a few restaurants in Skiatook, good but nothing special. Try some southern dishes you don’t get back East. We have some good chicken fry, chicken fried steaks, biscuits and sausage gravy, and everyone thinks their BBQ the best, it’s the sauce for me. your In a good hunting and fishing area, Look out for Rattlesnakes and coyotes, One of my friends let her little dog out to he bathroom one night and it didn’t end well….. As far as things to do, we have 2 world class museums, gilcrease has more Russell and Remington than you’ll see anywhere, as well as Indian artifacts. Downtown it’s the World Class Art Deco buildings with artwork that’s free or they do have someone to guild you. People come from all over the world to see it, a lot of Europeans. The blue dome arts district downtown has many good restaurants, go visit the Woody Guthrie museum or other attractions. The gathering place is World Class IMO https://www.gatheringplace.org/ Bartlesville area, Woolrock for sure, They also have buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, this area is blessed with unique buildings https://www.visitbartlesville.com/price-tower-frank-lloyd-wright-architect-bartlesville-ok-listing-389 Plenty of Casinos, if your into that. Post oak lodge NW a little of downtown they do zip lining. The Botanic garden that’s right there has concerts and events of local artist …. $35 a year for somewhere you can bring your family and play… lots of land with a lake. https://www.tulsabotanic.org/ Tulsa drillers baseball cheap entertainment. TU football and basketball is very cheap, a season pass is like buying 1 ticket to OU/OSU. My best friend lived there all his life, it’s the big city now…no more Prairie Chickens to hunt. I’ve got 5 acres a couple miles north on highway 11.
