just came up with a really nice Beretta 96 in 40S&W.

Where can I get magazines for it for a decent price?

92 mags are plentiful, I wonder if you could modify the feed lips and make them work on a 96?

I think factory is 11 rds? MecGar makes a 13rd for the 96. Great mags.

I just performed a little test. I loaded 10 rds of .40 into a 92 mag and cycled them all by hand. They all fed and ejected fine. (Feeding wasn't perfectly smooth but it was close) They sit a smidge lower in the 92 mag, so I'm going to try to file a little bit off of the feed lips and see if they feed smoother.
