Find out what's private and what's public. Most neighborhoods have private property ponds, and require permission from the owner(s). If it's an Oklahoma or Corps of Engineers built reservoir, pond, dam, etc, it is 100% public. If it's on private property, the landowner MUST provide access to it via road, walking path, etc. Most people don't know this but can easily find out from Fish and Game or the CoE, OR the hard way when said fisherman sues for access and there ain't sh*t the landowner can do. I know this from experience.
