What’s your favorite rubs for smoking/grilling meat? I’m wanting to branch out from my go to rubs and see if there’s anything else out there I may want to try. I’ll list my favorites for each meat first. Chicken - I really like the blackstone brand Crazy Cajun or Chicken and Herb. Or Traeger brand Pork and Poultry. They all work well on thighs or drumsticks. I don’t cook much breast at all. Pork - I go with John Henry’s Texas Pig Rub. Goes pretty good with anything pork. Chops, ribs, butt. Traeger pork and poultry also is a favorite for pork. Beef - for brisket I use John Henry’s Mesquite Rub with “How To BBQ Right TX Brisket Rub” on top of that to make a nice bark. If I grill steaks on my Traeger I found I really like Famous Dave’s Steak and Burger Seasoning or Blackstone “Steakhouse” seasoning.
