We have always done our own taxes but recently we have learned that we might be missing out on some tax saving opportunities, so we're thinking of paying a professional this year. I am relatively sure that I saw a thread where someone asked for CPA/Tax Person recommendations but my searching skills are weak and I can't find that thread anywhere. So... 1. Can you recommend a knowledgeable, experienced tax professional in the OKC metro area? 2. Can anybody scare up the old thread so I can read the previous recommendations? Our taxes shouldn't be too tough, we aren't self employed or small business owners or anything like that. But my wife is a school teacher and some of her co-workers have mentioned deductions and such that we haven't previously claimed so we just want to pay a pro that can look our situation and say "Yeah, you have a handle on it. " or "Nope, you guys are missing out and this is why you should be paying me to do your taxes...".
