Over the years weve had tons of bikers as well as the big time car club guys come in to our shop in Modesto CA and alot of bikers at our Des Moines IA shop for work.
^^^ This has been similar to my experience in my business. Over the years weve had tons of bikers as well as the big time car club guys come in to our shop in Modesto CA and alot of bikers at our Des Moines IA shop for work. I have made some good solid long time friends from those customers. In the past Ive also either set up my mobile shop at many of their gatherings, swap meets and weekend parties or have been playing in a band at many of their events. Biker meets pay good money for the festival type gigs, and Ive always managed to make it home afterwards just fine, and with my money still in my pocket too. I blend in with them I guess because I look similar and so far never have had one problem with any of them, good friends and good customers. They never seem to be any worse or better people than other customers to me. For my business, theyre actually better customers for me than most mainstream busineses, and they for sure tip way better than my other customers. They seem to appreciate what we do for them more. Its just not my place to judge people by what they obviously do for a 'living', livelihood or whatever. Business is business, they have money to spend and they are welcome as long as they can pay me for my services when we're finished with them and no illegal shite goes down in my place while theyre there shutting me down. What they do outside of my places like most other businesses is all their business. Old friends of mine in Pawhuska hold one of the largest gatherings in this area in the summer and it has always been alot of fun to got to, its like going back home, a chance to go see alot of good old friends and party it up. It has never gotten out of hand when I was there. I always like to see guys and gals that Ive worked on come up to me at meets to show me their works I did, its always cool to see how happy they are with my creations, makes me proud to see them happy. And always glad one or two dont kill me afterwards that werent as happy with theirs...
