The ranches are vast, with 50-60 thousand acres being the norm. </p><p>He would stay in the bunkhouse with the cowboys, like one of us, and if it was raining, and we couldn't get out, or after hours at a poker game, he always said if your old enough to work daylight to dark like a man, your old enough to share my whisky.
