Went and hit all the reloading places in Tulsa yesterday. Ding Dongs has never been that bare that I can remember. Guy bought some ammo walked out walked in said they charged him $10 more than they said it cost. Old man immediately said no it cost more you are wrong. LOL dongs 2A has moved their stuff again back to the old building next door. Had to ask someone to take me over to look at stuff. They actually had a decent supply of powder and rifle bullets and prices weren't insane. Jerry's has lost their mind they are more expensive then Dongs now. They are selling 8# jugs of Bullseye for $289 and any powder that people would want was up to $37-$39 a pound. That is strait gouging when I am still seeing online places not jacking prices more than 10% when it stock. Dies were $20-$30 over price. Folks should remember this nonsense when it gets back to normal. I have always had mixed felling on them. Watching them change prices as they felt for different customers. Hit two Wal-marts today they each had a small amount of 12ga game loads. 22WMR and one had a single box of 300win mag. The one that sold long guns had 2 Savages XP rifles in 30-06 and that was it. Hit an Atwoods it had 6mm creed thats been there a couple weeks. Random long guns, some revolvers and hand full of M&Ps. That is similar to a couple weeks ago. Shot shells are gone. Hit BPS they had some guns still on rack. Had about 2 cases of 5.56 they were selling individual boxes from a box of 17hm and some CCI 22LR birdshot. No reloading stuff to be had but 2 boxes of a dies and one shot shell reloader. They did have some Turkey Loads and other pricier Shotshells but not a lot. Academy had NO AMMO of any kind in the store. Had about 8 guns half 22 revolvers and a few Taurus semis. One single shot 410 in camo. Sports world had cars everywhere and line 10 people long inside. They had a small amount of 223, 10mm, 40 cal on shelves. prices were $45 a 100 on 223 and $28 per 50 on 40cal didn't see 10mm prices. Also has 12ga 00 for $2 per round. They had some 28ga game loads. Places is really picked over. Noticed a couple CZ a Blue and an Orange prices were more than one from Cajun or CZ custom shop. HAd a few powders on the shelf I think prices were prepanic but wasn't interested in them. All that said prior to Christmas I would see Ammo in Atwoods when I checked in and Academy. The neckbeards lining up to clean stuff out has gotten to full peak it looks like. I hope all you guys prepared during 2019 when it was dirt cheap and life was good under DJT.
