lol @ Tulsa Sheriff's Department http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/crimewatch/tulsa-county-sheriff-s-deputy-arrested-charged-with-stealing-dog/article_df76763d-c8e1-549e-859b-e86df8c63a16.html A Tulsa County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested Wednesday after allegedly stealing a dog from a yard last month. Justin Kaczynski, 39, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on a count of larceny of a dog and was released within 10 minutes after posting the $2,500 bond. The charge was filed against him earlier in the day, along with a warrant for his arrest. Prosecutors allege Kaczynski “stealthily” grabbed a German shepherd from the backyard of a home Sept. 25 and carried the dog away without the owner’s permission. The deputy was placed on paid administrative leave Sept. 28, but it was downgraded to unpaid leave Wednesday as a result of the felony charge, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. Kaczynski, who was hired as a detention officer in 2006 and promoted to deputy in 2012, is the second TCSO employee to be arrested this week. Ransom Wise Adedeji, a jail detention officer, was charged with misdemeanor assault after allegedly hitting an inmate with a radio. He surrendered Tuesday and also is on unpaid administrative leave. “It’s important that TCSO maintain the high standards expected of law enforcement”, Sheriff Vic Regalado said in the release. “We will vigorously investigate any betrayal of the public’s trust by one of our employees.”
