Glad to hear that, unlike in the other thread, some folks enjoyed the show and got some good deals. I didn't recognize anyone from OSA while at the show, but then again, my attention was on the milsurps and Ruger Mk II's on the tables I passed, and on the lovely examples of the other gender that were in attendance :wink2: I had my eye on this one M1 Garand my buddy had on Friday during the setup, but since I had already traded for another M1, I promised myself I wouldn't buy the second one until I had sold all my wares. All day Friday and on Saturday morning, people examined that M1 while I watched, and I sold my stuff piece by piece... finally, I was down to the last, and most expensive, item, and while this one guy was seriously examining the M1 and asking my buddy all sorts of questions, someone came by to ask if I'd take a check for the final item. When I said I took cash only, he said he'd check with his wife and be right back. At the same time, the one prospective buyer put down the M1 and moved away a bit to make a phone call. I picked up the rifle, and while holding it, I looked up in time to see the one guy say into his phone something along the lines of: "Yeah... uh huh... yeah, it's a really nice one... OK, will do." He came back to the table, hesitated when he saw the rifle was missing, and asked my buddy where it was. When told I was holding it, he asked if I was going to buy it. My buddy turned to me, and I said, "I'll take it." The look the jilted buyer gave me :grumble: The other guy came back 20 minutes later and bought my final item with cash. So it all worked out
