Never been nostalgic about guns myself, although I have a few I've departed with that later on I wish I'd kept. And it's not like I'd ever buy another one like them again. They were just cool guns to own. I've have 1 gun I've owned since I was 13 ( and I'm 64 now ) that I have no use for and plan on never using again. It is a Belgium, Browning Sweet 16, bought from Otasco. A Christmas present from my folks. So many countless memories made with that gun when I was young. But I don't bird hunt anymore and unless you have someone to pass a gun on to that will use it and appreciate it for what it is I see no reason to hang on to it myself unless it's just an investment. But that's just my way of thinking. I'm that way with anything though. Probably the last rifle I would ever part with is my Remington 700 BDL .22,.250 bull barrel. The most all around sweet shooting gun I've ever owned. I've dropped more deer in their tracks with that gun and a 55 grain bullet than I ever have with one of my larger caliber rifles.
