Depression is a bad thing. You are torn between asking for help with it or sucking it up and just deal with it. I have been there and still have the T shirt to prove it! In 2010 I fell, rather rode a ladder down from 10 ft. to the concrete floor. I broke my whole right side. I had a twisted compound fracture of my right leg, three broken toes, (still haven't figured that one yet), broken back, broken hand and shoulder. I was in extreme pain and could not move. The ambulance guys said grin and bare it because I was in such bad shape I couldn't have pain meds. I was in surgery for the back within 10 minute of entering the ER. The relieved a lot of the pain and I could move again. About three years and multiple surgeries, pain blocks, rehabilitation to get the fluids out of my hand because it was so swollen I couldn't move my fingers, I had a heart attack and drove myself to the ER. One quad bypass later and another 6 months of rehab I could finally get back to light duty at work. Don't even want to get into the work comp fiasco.
