Thought it was interesting that the use of steel case/Wolf ammo voids the warranty of their guns.

I've put at least 2K through CMMG uppers...no issues. I don't know why they're such pansies about it...

By the way, there is no possible way they could tell that I've fired steel cased ammo.

DPMS states that even shooting reloads will void their warranty. I can understand the steel cases.

DelTon says the same thing. I decided to forget the warranty, no way I'm only going to shoot .50c+/rd ammo through this thing. Reloading is the only way I can afford it.

AFIK, reloads void everyone's warranty.

I wouldn't sweat it. (and haven't for several thousand rounds)

The extractor steel is also harder than fresh factory brass, but will still eventually wear out.

Harder does not neccessarily equal wear-proof, I suppose.

I should have said, "faster than brass".
I was just told this by a dealer. Personally, I've never fired any Wolf in an AR15.
