Does Major do truss's? I am thinking that is the way I am going to go. If I go ahead and buy the trident 9. is there any guns it won't work on? I guess that is what I need to be asking.

yes he does and you are aware because of our wonderful sheriff scott walton who "doesnt believe in" class III items you have to basically use a trust. thats what i am going to do when the time comes.

Ive heard nothing but good about the trident. I have also heard good about the Ti-Rant.

From what I understand, most who go with the SWR is because of its versatility (although, Im not sure what they mean. I though as long as the proper mounts were available, a supressor could be used on anything that had the matching bore).

All that said, Im planning on going with the SWR and running it on a USP Tac, eventually a MP5 build, and my AR.

This is true, the Ti-Rant has no 3-lug available though AAC has added them to their vaporware list. They should have the common thread patterns and a fixed barrel spacer that allows you to mount it on fixed barrel hosts though so that pretty much covers everything but the 3 lug stuff.

What I like about the trident is you can just buy more mounts instead of having to take the can apart and do the piston swap (messy). That's what makes the Trident more versatile IMO. Ti-Rant in 9 and 45 are definitely awesome though. I love my Trident too.

SWR trident 9, just called in my order to the Maj, (thanks Bryan)

the only thing I have in my possession is the glock with the grips on it now. I will keep this thread updated as Things come in. I am starting to get all giddy like a schoolgirl at a twilight party!
