The big thing to do is select a combination that will give you the correct ejection pattern. Brass should eject at 4-5 o'clock. Further forward and it's overgassed, causing accelerated wear and possible parts failure. Further back and it's undergassed, possibly causing malfunctions.

I found a diagram over at AR15.com that shows what Glocktogo is talking about.

I've got an AAC piston buffer that drops my rate down to 550rpm and I run an 11.5" POF upper on it. Definitely helps me save on ammo.

Wow, looks like the AR15 RR is right at 11.5K right now.

Right before I went to look at the one I am getting, I found one on Gunbroker for 10.9K. and on some other page I found a (I think) E.A. Lower only for $9500.00

Then Ruben Mendiola out of Miami, FL has a Colt SP1 with a RDIA that can ONLY be used with that one gun for $9,495.00

Just got to keep your eyes open and you will for one for the money!!

Well Today I took payment down for the Full Auto I bought, and the guy I am getting it from let me shoot it again. I put the first mag in the gun, shot the first 5 rds in simi and then put it into AUTO. Again, it seem to run a bit slow. I got about done with that mag and stopped. Then started again. about 4 shots went of and it felt like someone hit the on switch. Seem like it went 2 times as fast. I put the 2nd mag in the gun and just let it all rip. The 3rd mag as well and I got to say I am very happy with the rate of fire now. It was made full auto in 1984 and has not ever been run tell I got my hands on it. Just seems like it needed to be broke in. I just can not wait to get my stamp back on it...
