I like my Gemtech OutBack II. I had it for a few years now and it has been a very nice CAN. I ran it on my P22 Walther, AR 15's with a .22 kit, and a few other guns over the last few years.
Specifications:

Caliber: .22LR
Length: 5.1 in.
Diameter: .98 in.
Weight: 3 oz.
Mount: 1/2x28 threads (titanium insert)
I forgot what the sound reduction is, but it was one of the best for the $300.00 range cans.

The bad,,,, You can not take it apart. I did read where someone did and the post will go over what you need to do so you can get it apart. I know I am not going to try it! Also it is not for Full Auto fire. When I bought the OutBack II I did not know if I would ever have a MG.

Right now I am looking for a good can to run with a .22 upper for AR/M16 as I am not getting a Full Auto Colt.

I did have very good luck with my OutBack II and I say if you are not ever going to run it on a full auto MG, it would be one to look at.
One I am going to look at next, and hope to get to test at the end of the month is a Gemtech G5-22. The only thing I do not like about that is you got to have a mount on your gun to run it, and if I want to put it on a P22 or something set up with 1/2-28, I got to put that mount on it as well.

I'm hooked on my SWR Spectre.

If you want to give it a go, you can try it out on my 22/45.

Also, i'm sure that just about every .22 can made will be at the NFA day in a couple of weeks.
