Well I seem to have suppressor fever at the moment and I was wondering if any of you have heard one way or another about shooting .223/5.56 through a .22lr can.
I ask cause I have an AR-15 and plan to but a p22 down the road, and I would like to suppress them both with one can. And .22lr cans are cheap.
I know that .22 cans are much smaller than those built for .223 but I'm wondering if that would just equate to less noise suppression, which is okay cause using it on the rifle would just be for cool factor anyway since you can't easily buy subsonic .223(and what would be the point).
but I'm also wondering if shooting the higher pressure .223/5.56 with the can on could damage the can.
Any input?
And dont try and convince me to just buy a .223 can, I'm cheap. (unless you know of a good .223 can for around 250$)
