Trail Lite barrel for Buckmark

I'm getting closer to owning a suppressor. Currently I'm leaning towards a Sparrow to mount on a Browning Buckmark that I already own. I just need the threaded barrel to mount it up.

Will the extra barrel length of the 5.5 inch Trail Lite barrel make cheap ammo go too fast? Am I better off just putting the 4 inch barrel on and calling it a day?

I know that CCI MiniMags stay subsonic in my 4.5" PacLite barrel. Don't really know if the extra inch of your TrailLite would make them supersonic. You could always buy the CCI Standard Velocity ammo which stays subsonic even in rifle barrels and is not very expensive. YMMV

HV Ammo might go supersonic but most bulk packs should be okay

Bulk packs are gonna vary. You'll have subs, supers and transonic rounds in every mag. I'd go 4.5 at the longest to keep pretty much every thing subsonic.

I went with the 4" and I'm very happy with it.

Fair enough. If I end up with an optic on it, then the sight radius won't matter anyway.

4" barrel has been ordered.

Wise decision IMO. You'll be happier with the bulk packs staying subsonic all the time.
