Looks like they picked the wrong neighborhood to bail out in.

TULSA, Oklahoma – A man was arrested after an East Tulsa police chase Wednesday evening.

SkyNews6 captured the pursuit through a Tulsa neighborhood.

Tulsa Police said the chase started when an officer attempted to stop a truck near 11th and Garnett. Police said a female passenger in the truck jumped out as vehicle sped off.

The vehicle hit a police car near 41st Street and 145th East Avenue during the chase, according to police. Officers said the vehicle continued through a nearby neighborhood where it crashed into a mailbox.

According to police, a man and a teenager got out of the truck and started to run from the scene when neighbors, armed with guns, approached them. Officers said the neighbors, who had heard the commotion, held the men at gunpoint until officers came on scene.

Police believe the teen was being held against his will. Officers said the truck had been reported stolen several days ago.

The driver of the truck, identified as Jeffrey Friend, was arrested and booked into the Tulsa jail.

Secret bunker in an undisclosed location.
For what? He didn't pull a weapon on them.

Vigilantism is a little too far over the line for me. Now this guys habitual apparently and wouldn't have been a great loss but no could know that entering into the situation.

I got to agree with that. Now if he'd pointed a gun at them it would have been perfectly acceptable to turn the dirt bag into a sieve.

Not what I would've done, but kudos to them.

I don't trust the cops' (or anyone else's judgment, when my ass is on the line) to with 100% certainty know that I, holding the gun, am not the threat.

That's what I like about small towns. The good ol' boy system does have its advantages.
