Sorry partner but your doc needs to re-evaluate those nombres. At those specs you are considered slightly overweight, not obese. You are a 26.5, overweight ranges from 25-29.9 and obese is 30 or more. You would need to come down to 173lbs or lower to be considered normal weight.

I thought something seemed amiss. That sounds much more reasonable.

damn perrone, i cant believe you talked down to benjamin and said whats so good about america in same thread. Typical lib, condescending america hater.
this is exactly why we dont need "universal" health care. everyone should have their own plan, based on their own health habits, we shouldnt have to be worrying about what your neighbor is doing. but since you libs are so smart you think you need to tell everyone how to live.

There's another thread about the USA being the most heavily armed country in the world, I have to wonder if the problem is that they are weighing us without removing the firearm and ammo first.

I don't understand why people get so personal about this. Whether we statistically are or aren't the fattest country in the world is really irrelevant. Just observe the people around you. There is a problem. Does it affect my pocket-book? Probably. Can I do anything about it? Nope.

I wish people would take better care of themselves too but it just isn't going to happen. The new years resolution folks have already given up for the year. So now I can have my parking spot back! :D

The thing is, your "own" plan is affected by everyone else as well. Your rate is not just based on your health, it is based on the health of those in your specific area. How big the area is I do not know, but if your neighbor is a fattie, it IS making your rate go up.

Honestly, when I go to other cities everyone here makes fun of like let's say.... NYC.... it's refreshing to see normal and fit people.

The ironic thing about what you said is, America's weight problems are significantly contributing to the inflation of health care costs.
