All y'all lucky bastids that at least had a shot at one.

I could sell all three of my cars and not afford to buy an M16. Not to mention ammo costs now.

25 years ago on today's date (19 May, 1986) the Firearms Owners Protection Act was signed into law. While it did do a lot of good for gun owners (allowed mail order ammo for one thing) it also banned the manufacture of any new machineguns for civilians. It is therefore a sad day to remember.

Ament to that.

Care to double your money on those? I mean really, double your money. Cash money. Twice as much as you paid. I'll give you 1900 for that 16 and 700 for the M11. That's double what you paid for 'em. DOUBLE. Think about it.
