***A few years ago when I lived in Galveston, we leased a house. We moved up to Houston
and we rented an apartment until our home was built. I didn't want the apartment neighbors
to know that I had guns, and I dang sure didn't want them to know I had Class III guns. Not having
a garage at the apartmemts, I needed a special case.
I went to a guitar store and bought two used hard shell guitar cases and gutted out the part where the
guitar lays. There is a foam store in Houston, so I applied a caulking glue and added the foam. I then cut
out the shape of the gun. Wham-O...guitar gun case. So...when the neighbors saw me loading
boxes and a few guitar cases, all they thought was ....there goes that guitar player.
One time when I was loading up a guy came up to me and started talking guitars....never opened the
cases.....told him all I had was cheap, knock off epiphone, that looked like a Gibson Les Paul.

Forgot to mention, the cases I have seen for Thompsons were rectangular cases. The Thompson..I guess
take down model...was placed in a rectangular case with a couple of stick magazines and a drum magazine.
Haven't seen the violin case for a Thompson...yet.

Its been awhile, I just remembered a really cool brief case maade for the Mac-10.
You could leave it in the case and if I remember correctly....could shoot still in the case.
