As a life-long registered Republican, I can officially now say that I hate the GOP. Watching the worthless Foxnews report on the NH primary, I just heard Brit Hume say that "Ron Paul's 2nd place was surprisingly closer than most thought, but everyone knows he still has as much chance of getting the nomination as Rue Paul". He then said that all Paul does is "block the others from any real effort to overtake Romney". What a phallus. That's not the first disparaging comment I've heard about Paul tonight; never a bad word about the rest of the field from the GOP media mouthpiece.

I now almost hope Paul runs third party, and runs the GOP/Romney/RINO Titanic into the iceberg. Eff 'em. They deserve to have Barry whip their arses again.

There. I feel better now.

Yep, I heard that too.

The GOP establishment runs a real risk alienating the RP segment.
RP has brought more young people and new voters in to the republican party than anyone in years and he gets absolutely no credit for it from the GOP power base.

That's probably the best thing that could happen to the GOP. They are gonna have to change within the next few election cycles, because the younger generations simply are not gonna support them as they become the majority of voters, and the old folks conk out. If the GOP keeps pulling out assclowns like this, and keeps scaring away young voters with their ridiculous social stances and the like, the only way they could beat a Democrat is if the incumbent Democrat accidentally burned down the White House while freebasing. Even then it would be a close race.

The Republican establishment is scared sh!tless of Ron Paul and it shows.
This. For some good reasons, and some bad reasons.

I think you meant to say the only way they could ever BEAT a Democrat incumbent... but I'm not trying to put words in your mouth. Just sounds like you misspoke, compared with the rest of your statement.

Just goes to show what I've always said... they're all scum. I MIGHT be willing to exclude RP from that, as I think he truly believes in his positions, but some of them will lead to real problems elsewhere in the world, if you ask me. But the GOP is going down in flames, for this cycle, anyways.

As an independant looking at the GOP field i see no reason to not vote for Paul. Romney, Newt and the rest are same old Republicans, with same old tired message. So for me its Paul or Obama. Its disheartening that i feel im being forced to vote for liberals or radicals. Maybe someday a moderate will run and i can be proud of casting a meaningfull vote.

A moderate? I think Romney is as moderate as you can hope to get. Not sure what else you're looking for in a moderate, personally. Not trying to start a fight, I'm just saying that is why so many GOPers can't stand him.
