I see nothing wrong with it and I support open carry.
Just asked a LEO his opinion of Open Carry. He said "I like it in principle, but it was written bad. We can't ask to see a permit or anything so anyone could strap on a gun and we will never know who's a bad guy" I tried to help inform him of the law as I understood it, but he said that wasn't the case.....
He was OHP..... Somebody want to send out a memo? lol.......
In all honesty I can't believe that a LEO has missed that part of the new law....
Actually not true he does not under stand the way the law is written. In fact the law states that you must present your ID and Permit when asked by LEO's

Saw my first group of open carriers on a call tonight. It appeared to be a family.
They looked as if they were far more likely to die of diabetes or a heart attack than criminal assault.

It would be interesting to hear from the jurisdictions where the Chiefs & Sheriffs had said that their officers / deputies would be checking every single person OCing for their license. I'm wondering how that is going. So far, I haven't read of anyone being checked for a handgun license.
How about someone in the news media going back and asking them about their previous unreasonable stance on OC and what changed their minds.
