Hey All,

Last Saturday I went to the gunrange(H&H) at around 2:00ish. I was told there was a 2hour wait...What The Heck??!!

So to kill a little time I drove to Tapwerks in bricktown to "refresh" myself before I went back to the range.

Being a little adventerous I decided to try a few beers I had never tried before....WOW!!!

My first newbie was Moose Drool....an amber colored beer, a brown ale...not a stout. Very Good!!!!
Really like this stuff, have bought several 6packs.

The second newbie...Rouge Dead Guy Ale. Very Good...a backup if I run out of Moose Drool

My third and final newbie was Lindemans; a Belgian lambic fruit beer....almost like a sweet wine....BUT IT IS BEER. My wife loves the peach and I really like the Raspberry.....dang that's good.

After having quenched my thirst(after a couple of hours) I went back to H&H and it still was a two hour wait....so I hit McNellies to quench my second thirst and went home.

What beers are you all drinking? Seasonal, pilsner, stouts...??

Recommend a few for Cohiba to try this Christmas while sitting around the fire and listening to Perry Como, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby and others singing classic Christmas songs.

Cheers...:sunbath:

i doubt you can find it in tulsa (i have to go to atlanta to get it) but Brooklyn Brewery Local 1 is fantastic, as is their Black Chocolate Stout (~10.1%). westmalle dubbel is also great. I've actually been drinking a lot of Anderson Valley IPA and the Newcastle English IPA (not nearly as hoppy as an american IPA, but a very good drinker).

The Boulevard Smokestack series Imperial Stout is also very good, but you have to be in a stout mood.
