Sorry, the photo isn't the greatest, but I believe the date is actually 1939 (I'd have to pull it out to look).

Would you guys like to play "guess the caliber" or would you like me to tell you?

.55 caliber Boy's anti-tank round. :)

Side to side, with the exception of the belt at the base, it looks just like a .50 BMG.

The pic didn't look that big. The big thick rim had me confused. Watched a tank buster segment on the Military Channel the other day where they showed the Boy's anti-tank round.
You have have some good finds.
