Okay so I still don't know much....

Did you know........................................................................there was a company in Wichita that would install a Duramax into your H1, and it wasn't cheap. Not sure if they're still around or not.

I would love a Titan with a diesel. I love my current Titan, but this gas motor is awful on gas mileage. It's pretty strong, but damn it likes the gasoline.

Different vehicle category, but since it's been mentioned, the '14 Grand Cherokees have the 3.0l diesel. According to Car and Driver:

Output ratings have the sort of relationship typical of diesels: decent horsepower at 240 and impressive torque at 420 lb-ft. The grunt is enough to imbue the diesel Grand Cherokee with the same towing capacities—7400 pounds with rear-wheel drive, 7200 with four-wheel drive—as those of the 5.7-liter V-8 model. Of perhaps equal importance, of course, are fuel-economy ratings. Jeep pegs the rear-drive EcoDiesel at 22 mpg city/30 highway; opting for four driven wheels sacrifices 1 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway. The range is said to be more than 730 miles.

I liked the mid-2000s Grand with the VM Motori CRD they offered. In a 2wd with 3.07 gears, people were getting over 30 mpg with one. Sure would be a nice highway vehicle with the ability to "soft road" when needed. Honestly would suit me today pretty well given how my activities have changed over the years.

Crazy how most other countries that have little, to no EPA of their own, have many of the same vehicles we do, with a different name, and a diesel version that's awesome in every aspect. Have you seen the new Ford Ranger? Not offered in the US, only overseas, it's bigger, looks like a Tundra and has a diesel option.

Ha, I don't want to drag it, but it'd be nice to be able to overtake slower traffic in less than 90 seconds. Which honestly is more on my gearing, but I still wouldn't mind a little more beef under the hood.

The Wrangler's had a 2.8 diesel over seas for years. Yet, here we are empty-handed. Until now, I wasn't aware of the international Ranger T6. That's the nicest Ranger I've ever seen! Still not sure if I'd buy one given the chance, but definitely a good looking truck.

That bitchin diesel wrangler hasn't been offered in the us due to its fuel economy. I too can't wait
