Approximately three months from pending to approved. Current reports are from eForms filed between 08/01 and 08/16. Approved forms are sent as a .pdf email attachment. Dana Pickles is currently the examiner of record. This is exciting! I have an eForm Form 1 pending from 08/29!

Wow, that's pretty quick. Over the last month when I call in to check on form 4's they say 15 months from pending is estimated wait time.

I have no idea what their rationale is behind such BS. They've added more examiners now and if anything the wait time is going down. Plus what they're giving out is the time the application was initially received. No more pending, second pending or any other information. Time to blast our congress critters and ask them to put some pressure on the BATFE and NFA to become more customer friendly again.

Is seems like they may have assigned an examiner exclusively to the eForms submissions, starting a second much shorter line. Hopefully it keeps going this way until well after they get to mine.

I hope they can get this process moving along quicker. I've called on several Form 4's, some e-filed and others through the mail. I get the same 15 month wait either way. The biggest advantage to the Eform is that you go pending within 24 hours and your 15 month wait begins. If you mail the forms in it seems to take about 4 months to go pending.
