I found one in one of my parents trash barrels put him in a cage and started feeding him. This was a young boar and after a week I could scratch his head....while he was eating. I thought I had him tamed down until the day I drove him down to the creek to turn him loose and my parents snauzer pissed him off and he bit me.

I had a young coon hanging out in the tree above my dogs houses. The dog food barrel is right there also. I dont think he was into the barrel yet but after I would feed the dogs, they will always eat a little and then leave the rest for later...or leave the rest for a coon. I didnt discover he was up there untill I noticed all the schit on top of the dog house. I looked up there and he was sprawled out across a branch sleeping. I shot him with .22 birdshot to scare him off but he because very pissed instead. The next shot was regular lead.
Google Rabies and the first animals to come up are skunks and coons.

Since the outdoor kitties have gone off to be placed in their new homes there's no more food being put out. As suspected, he's not shown up since. I doubt I see him again but someone in the neighborhood putting food out will.

I would have paid for gas to see you try and Daniel Boone it on your head lol...not so much the ER bills though.

That should become the next big "thing".... People videoing themselves snatching up a wild raccoon and sticking it on their head like a coonskin cap lol, could call it "Dan'l Booning" LOL.

Is this the same Brandi that would give me grief for disposing of wild hogs instead of bringing them over an hour away to OKC (often times late at night) to you. Yet when i offered to meet you halfway, you said it was too far. You never once offered to pay the diesel tab for the delivery.

UMB and I employed a guy from Lincoln County that had a pet coon.

One day this guy shows up for work with his face torn up. I mean he was really messed up with deep scratches. Of course, we asked him what the hell happened to him. He tells us the tale about the pet coon.

He was, "fishing at the pond and drinking a little". He had his pet coon sitting on his shoulder just chilling. A friend shows up at the pond and the friends Border Collie bails out of the back of the truck headed for the coon, perched on our employees shoulder. The coon freaks and tears up this guys face in an effort to escape the dog and splits for the woods. Later the same guy would be found puking in my office trash can while coming down from an Oxycontin withdrawal and sent to rehab.

Note to self and readers: Raccoons can't be trusted. Shoot that sucker. (True Story)
