Gosh darn it. Yes, that's him. Well, my question is this: if I am a P.I. would I be able to buy a GLOCK 18? If so, how much? If not, am I able to modify my GLOCK 19 to go full auto? Do you have a recommendation for a Class 3 dealer?
Others can chime in on this one but here is what I think.
I don't think a PI qualifies as LEO(SOT), so you couldn't buy a G18 in that sense. Considering that the G18, and any components that would make a Glock full auto were manufactured after the machine gun law went into effect in 1986, there would be no legal way for you to own a full auto Glock. Is it possible to convert a Glock to full auto? I can't help you with that one, but I can advise you that there is no legal way to do it.
The long answer is also no.
You would have to be an SOT to own a fullauto Glock. Your PI license gets you no special advantage in the NFA world.
I know, I just wanted to avoid getting into SOT's and the whole LE/MIL thing.
