What are your thoughts on this bill? And would this also be the same for concealed carry?

I'm abit on both sides of it. There are some crazies out there that are still a little wacky and prob shouldn't have the opportunity to carry.
And then there are others like me who have gotten in trouble as a youngster, and have a misdemeanor from over 10 years ago.
I don't have the money to spare on an attorney and go through everything else without a guarantee of getting a permit.

Frankly, if someone can go 10 years without getting in trouble again, I have no problem with it. To be honest though, I'm a moderately strict 2A guy. If the crime wasn't bad enough to execute the guy, I don't think his rights should be infringed anyway.

If they have made it 10 years with mo problems, it's OK with me.

Like mentioned, they might not have the money to get a lawyer to take care of it, like other people can.

Who knows, it might have been something as simple as being in the wrong crowd, at the wrong time.
If they have proven them selves, make them a full member of society.

I think I read somewhere that they were supposed to drop off after 10years, but no one keeps up with it. So people have to go through the process of getting it expunged. Mine was a misdemeanor poss. of weed back in 2001 or 2002 before I grew up. Clean record since then.

I personally don't think that weed is a big deal anyway. It was only made the list because the .gov was looking for any reason to jail dissidents. It is about the same as getting drunk, but that has implications as well. I don't do either one, but I understand the right to do so.

Let's see... is it the RIGHT to keep and bear arms, or the PRIVILEGE to keep and bear arms?

Most folks may call it a right, but if it can be denied to you for doing something completely peaceful, non-violent, and victimless like possessing a plant, it is being treated as a privilege.

I support the restoration of the RIGHT to keep and bear arms.
