I am also in need of someone to engrave on an RPG-7 I am doing a Form 1 on. It sounds like thus far Juno is not recommended. Does anyone Else recommend that guy from Collinsville that was mentioned at the beginning of this thread, have pictures of his work, or have other recommendations in the Tulsa area?

Anybody been over to southwest engravers recently? Just tried to call and the number is disconnected...

*update*

To answer my own question, they are still open but have had some things come up that they discontinued the phone temporarily. Very nice family who did an excellent job on my lower. I recommended she get an FFL so people could send them to her to be done as she truly does do excellent work.

Yes, you are the "Maker/Manufacturere" of the SBR by converting it - Full trust name, city, state (state abbreviation is okay), caliber is required to be engraved. ATF regs have specific on size/depth of font.

If you were to have purchased an SBR on a form 4 vice made it on a form 1, then you would not have to have it done. Make sure you do not "make" the SBR before the ATF has given you permission. :crying:

Have a link for the atf rule book on NFA/SBR? I'm not finding anything for a silly reason. I'm wanting to get into the game, but need to do my research and know the rules and laws first.

By the way, orangewes posted an introduction post with some examples of his work in THIS thread. Looks like he does good work for those up Tulsa area. As for me in OKC, I'll stick with SW Engravers - fast, cheap, and she does excellent work.

SW engravers did my lower on 5/4. Very pleased with the job. I live eighty miles from them and tried to call first but a message said the phone wasn't in service anymore. I wanted to know their hours and how stripped down the lower needed to be but I took a chance and drove up there. I left the trigger group in and it wasn't a problem. The working hours on the door said 9-5 M-F and lunch from 2-3 a nice lady works there and the charge was $15 it took about 15 min.
