The harvester isn't a good option if you are planning to use it on semi-auto rifles. It is a great option for a bolt action precision or hunting rifle. What is your main host going to be?
I figure it might stay on my AR that I'm in the process of putting together some and on my 22-250 some for night hunting predators in TX...depending on how much I end up hunting with the AR? Have been leaning more towards a direct thread so I don't have all the costs of buying a bunch of brakes/flash hiders, just maybe one thread reducer

i really looked at the harvester mainly for the size/weight. i think it would be ok on a semi platform if you didn't rapid fire, but who wants to do that...right?

Looking at the Dead Air Sandman Ti and the Omega, but the Dead Air doesn't show to be full auto rated? Does anyone know if it is or isn't good enough for the semiauto higher rate of fire if needed?

It should be good. The reason Ti cans aren't recommended for higher rates of fire is because when they get really hot, the blast tends to increase erosion exponentially and Ti has a tendency to spark. However, the baffles are what takes the brunt of it and Stellite is the most erosion resistant of all metals used in suppressor construction when hot. Look at it this way, you can get a .30 can down to 11oz, but it isn't going to take high heat applications without burning out. You can get a bombproof .30 can at 24oz, but it's going to seriously alter the rifle's balance, point of impact and just not be as fun to use. By using a Ti body and Stellite baffles at 16.8oz, they're bringing in a "sweet spot" can that can take some semi use on I'd say down to a 10.5" 5.56 AR, probably some light FA use on a 16"+ MG and as much as you'd want to throw at it on a 16" 6.8 AR. If you limited FA to something like .300BLK, you'd probably be fine to shoot as much as you want.

The best bet would be to email your intended use list to Dead Air and see if they'll warrant the can for it. They do guarantee it for life up to .300 Win Mag, so it's a tough can that won't break your back carrying it in the field.

Thanks for that Glocktogo...as I've said before, there is a lot of suppressors out there, and me being new to them, I want the best bang for my buck, but I also want to get the process started asap since it takes so long...I told someone yesterday that it sucks when its harder deciding on an "accessory" for a firearm versus the actual gun itself LOL
