Hmm, it was "referred for engrossment." As I understand it, that means the bill is now being finalized with all adopted amendments and such. What happens next?

Also, this bill just allows hunters to use suppressors while hunting on public lands, correct? Nothing to do with taking suppressors off the NFA list...

Engrossed essentially means that it was tidied up and in this case it was signed today by whoever is responsible for that in the OK House sent to the OK Senate where it had its first reading.

Yes, this bill allows use of suppressors for hunting on public lands in the State of Oklahoma. There is another federal bill that is in the US Congress that seeks to remove suppressor from NFA purview but this isn't it.

I'm not sure about what actually happened but NRA-ILA said it went into effect immediately rather than Nov 1.
